Rosenberger Micro-Coax is fully committed to reducing the environmental impact of our products and supports the Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive 2002/95/EC referred to as RoHS.

It is the company’s intention to comply with the requirements of the directive and work closely with suppliers and customers to ensure we can meet the 1st July 2006 commencement date.

Our main area of concern will be to focus on the removal of “Leaded” solder currently used in our assembly processes. We will therefore switch to use only “Lead-Free” solder in our processes to ensure product produced after the deadline is compliant.

Our customers are advised that product assembled after the deadline of July 1st 2006 shall be in accordance with the directive therefore all cable assemblies will be produced using “Lead-Free” solder.

In cases where customers require us to manufacture using “Lead” solders after this date, this requirement must be specified on the purchase order documentation.
